For a photography assignment, we had the choice to make either a promotional poster or a music video for one of our favourite songs. I worked with my friend, Matias, to create this video for the song Toothpaste Kisses by The Maccabees. We purposely made the video shaky and rotated at times to make it more interesting. I am happy with the result given that our first few ideas didn’t work out so we had to resort to this at the end.

I hope you enjoy it :)

For this assignment, we were told to research a famous photographer, choose five of their photos, and then take five of our own photos in a similar style.

Here is a link to the website where I found the information and photos from my artist, Jack Radcliffe.

As you can see, this photographer specializes in black and white portraits, so I did the same and used my sister as a model for my own five photos.

When the photo uploader works, I will attach a picture or two from my assignment :) .

For this project, we had three different choices and ideas of how we could edit photos. I chose the 4×4, an assignment that involved editing one picture in 16 different ways and putting them together. This assignment had to have layers and use a minimum of three different editing tools. I mostly used the simple artistic tools like Poster Edges and Smudge.

I didn’t like the final result of this assignment that much because some of the photos don’t really match the rest or fit in with the others photos of the composition.

For this assignment, we had to alter a picture by using one of the artistic tools on Adobe Photoshop. I used the Poster Edge tool because I like how it makes the image stand out, but at the same time doesn’t distort it too much.

The photo uploader isn’t working at the moment, but I will put the image on later.

One of our assignments was to teach the rest of the class how to use a certain tool on Photoshop to alter a picture. I chose to do Pop Art as my editing technique. Below are a before and after photo and a link to the video that I learnt the skill from.
